Aberdeen

This township is located on the Jersey Shore. It is a part of the New York Metropolitan Area and in the Raritan Valley, borders Staten Island in New York City and Old Bridge Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey.

To revitalize the local economy, nine municipalities in northern Monmouth County have created the Bayshore Regional Strategic Plan, which includes Aberdeen Township. The plan emphasizes the area’s traditional downtowns, residential neighborhoods, maritime heritage, and natural surroundings along the Raritan Bay coastline.

Adelphia

Adelphia is an unincorporated community in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in northern Howell Township. Residents of Adelphia use a Freehold mailing address because their community borders Freehold Township.

Allenhurst 

Along the Jersey Shore, sits the borough of Allenhurst. On April 26, 1897, the New Jersey Legislature passed an act incorporating the community as a borough out of parts of Ocean Township. The settlement was given the name Abner Allen after its inhabitant. The borough’s population was 472 as of the 2020 United States Census, down 24 (4.8%) from the 2010 census figure of 496, representing a reduction of 222 (30.9%) from the 718 people reported in the 2000 census.

Allentown

The borough of Allentown, which borders neighboring Mercer County in western Monmouth County, is found in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough’s population was 1,734 as of the 2020 United States Census, which represented a loss of 94 (5.1%) from the 1,828 recorded in the 2010 census, which in turn reflected a decline of 54 (2.9%) from the 1,882 counted in the 2000 census. The borough is tucked away in central New Jersey and is about halfway between Philadelphia and New York City.

There are restaurants and specialty stores in Allentown’s retail area. The borough is home to several historic residences and structures. Despite being close to the municipality, The Horse Park of New Jersey has a mailing address in Allentown. Within the borough, close to the retail area, lies Heritage Park.

In 2002, the borough was named “Village Center,” which entitles it to additional state funding to preserve endangered historic and natural resource sites. For larger-scale shopping, nearby Freehold Raceway Mall, Quaker Bridge Mall, and Princeton Market Fair are all only a short drive away.

Allenwood

In Wall Township, Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, Allenwood is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP)[10]. The CDP has 925 residents as of the 2010 U.S. Census.

Asbury Park

Brielle

The borough of Brielle is situated across the Manasquan River in southern Monmouth County, New Jersey, in the United States. It represents a rise of 208 (+4.4%) from the 4,774 recorded in the 2010 census and a fall of 119 (2.4%) from the 4,893 counted in the 2000 census.

Colts Neck

Colts Neck Township is a township in the American state of New Jersey’s Monmouth County. It is in the Greater New York Area. Colts Neck is an affluent bedroom community in Central New Jersey that is part of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States Census, the township had a population of 9,957, a decrease of 185 (1.8%) from the 2010 Census count of 10,142, which in turn reflected a decline of 2,189 (17.8%) from the 12,331 counted in the 2000 Census. Due to its vast spaces, closeness to the Jersey Shore, and accessibility to New York City, many individuals settle in Colts Neck. Strict zoning regulations in the township have long prevented urban expansion and chain stores, allowing for locally-owned companies while being accessible to shopping centers, movie theaters, and other facilities in adjacent municipalities.

Deal

Deal is a borough located on the Jersey Shore. Europeans founded the settlement in the middle of the 1660s, and it has the name of Deal, a Kent-based English carpenter. The borough’s population was 900 as of the 2020 United States Census, a rise of 150 (+20.0%) from the 750 recorded in the 2010 census, which had seen a fall of 320 (29.9%) from the 1,070 counted in the 2000 census.

Orthodox Sephardic Jews, mostly of Syrian descent, comprise a significant portion of the Jewish community of Deal. In the 2000 census, 16% of Deal residents identified as having Syrian heritage, the highest percentage of Syrian Americans in any municipality nationwide. Most of the town had houses close to or over one hundred years old in the Victorian and American Foursquare styles. During the summer, the year-round population of Deal increases tenfold to over 6,000, many of whom are Syrian Jews.

Eatontown

Eatontown’s population was 13,597 as of the 2020 United States Census, an increase of 888 (+7.0%) from the count of 12,709 in the 2010 census, which itself showed a decline of 1,299 (9.3%) from the 14,008 counted in the 2000 census. West Long Branch (established on April 7, 1908) and Oceanport (established on April 6, 1920) were formed from pieces of the township. Based on the outcomes of a vote held on April 13, 1926, Eatontown was reincorporated as a borough on March 8, 1926, replacing Eatontown Township.

Englishtown

Englishtown is a borough in western Monmouth County, New Jersey, experiencing tremendous growth. The neighborhood is in the Raritan Valley area of Englishtown and began as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The borough’s name honors James English, a pioneer settler.

Fair Haven

The borough of Fair Haven is in the Monmouth County neighborhood of the Jersey Shore in the New York metropolitan area’s state of New Jersey. Fair Haven is surrounded to the west by Red Bank and Little Silver and is on the Rumson peninsula along the Navesink River. The borough’s population was 6,269 as of the 2020 United States Census, its largest decennial count ever. It is an increase of 148 (+2.4%) over the 6,121 counts from the 2010 census, representing an increase of 184 (+3.1%) over the 5,937 people tallied in the 2000 census.

Farmingdale

In the American state of New Jersey, the borough of Farmingdale is in Monmouth County. The borough was incorporated as a borough from portions of Howell Township on April 8, 1903.

Freehold Borough

The Freehold Borough is in the Raritan Valley area of the New York Metropolitan Area. The town has developed into a commuter town of New York City and is known for its Victorian-era homes and extensive colonial history.

Central New Jersey’s commercial center is located in the Freeholds area, which comprises the borough and Freehold Township (which entirely encircles the borough). Freehold Township 

Freehold Township is a township west of Monmouth County in the American state of New Jersey. Hazlet

Lake Como

Long Branch

Manasquan

Manasquan is a municipality on the Jersey Shore in the American state of New Jersey’s Monmouth County. Manasquan is home to a one-mile stretch of Atlantic Ocean beach, the Manasquan River, which is popular with boaters and fishermen, a fantastic downtown commercial center, good schools, several churches, the Algonquin Theatre, and many nice houses on quiet streets, all of which are close to the beach, shops, and public transportation.

Marlboro

The township had a population of 67,106 as of the 2020 United States Census, ranking it the 20th-most populous municipality in the state and the largest county. It represents an increase of 584 (+0.9%) from the 66,522 counts from the 2010 census, which itself reflected an increase of 195 residents (0.3%) from the 66,327 it had in the 2000 census when it was the state’s 17th-most populous municipality.

Millstone

Neptune City

Shrewsbury is a borough in eastern New Jersey’s Monmouth County. The borough is a bedroom community of New York City, located within the heart of the northern Shore region. In the 2020 United States Census, the borough’s population was 4,184, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 375 (+9.8%) from the 2010 census count of 3,809, which in turn reflected an increase of 219 (+6.1%) from the 3,590 counted in the 2000 census. Shrewsbury is a historic borough with a mix of residential and commercial areas. Its architecture and sense of community are both influenced by its colonial past.

Shrewsbury Township

Shrewsbury is a township in Monmouth County, along the Jersey Shore, in New Jersey. As of May 2010, the township had 1.49 miles (2.40 km) of roadways, all maintained by the municipality. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the town population was 1,076, a decrease of 65 (5.7%) from the 2010 Census count of 1,141, which itself reflected an increase of 43 (+3.9%) from the 1,098 counted in the 2000 Census.No U.S., state, county, or interstate routes directly access Shrewsbury Township. Only streets maintained by the municipality go through the township; Crawford Street is one of them. Accessible in surrounding municipalities are nearby main roadways.

Spring Lake Heights

A charming coastal community called Spring Lake is well-known for its immaculate beaches, stately Victorian buildings, and affluent atmosphere. It’s a well-liked location for leisure and entertainment.

Tinton falls

Monmouth County, in New Jersey, contains the borough of Tinton Falls. The borough has a population of 19,181 as of the 2020 United States Census, an increase of 1,289 (+7.2%) from the count of 17,892 in the 2010 census, which itself represented a rise of 2,839 (+18.9%) from the 15,053 reported in the 2000 census.

After separating from Shrewsbury Township, the borough was established as New Shrewsbury by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The name was taken from Lewis Morris’s estate, Tinton Manor, which employed free white laborers and enslaved people. The borough is home to the tallest waterfall on the coastal plain of New Jersey, and it was renamed “Tinton Falls” in 1975 to prevent postal mistakes.

Union Beach 

Monmouth County, in New Jersey, has the municipality of Union Beach along the Jersey Shore. Union Beach was established as a borough by the New Jersey Legislature Act on March 16, 1925, from portions of Raritan Township (now Hazlet). As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the borough’s population was 5,723, down 522 (8.4%) from the 2010 Census count of 6,245, which reflected a decline of 404 (6.1%) from the 6,649 counted in the 2000 Census. Since the American Revolutionary War, the Poole family had possessed a 100-acre (40 ha) property in the future town. Following the construction of the Central Railroad of New Jersey, the Poole Farm was transformed into the Union Subdivision in 1908, and in the same year, developer Charles Carr rebranded East Point Beach Estates as Union Beach.

Upper Freehold

In the U.S. state of New Jersey’s Monmouth County, there is a township named Upper Freehold Township. The township’s population was 7,273 as of the 2020 United States Census, an increase of 371 (+5.4%) from the 6,902 recorded in the 2010 census.

Equestrian enthusiasts worried about the shrinking quantity of property devoted to their interests and activities created the Horse Park of New Jersey. Based on recommendations from the state’s Equine Advisory Board, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Horse Park’s site with Green Acres funding in 1987. The Horse Park is in the heart of Monmouth County’s horse-friendly landscape.

Clayton Park, a passive recreation area with woodlands and hiking trails spread across a total of 438 acres (177 ha) of land, is one of the Monmouth County parks in the township. The park was acquired in 1978 by a local farmer who sold the land to the county for less than market value to ensure that the land would be preserved.

Wall

In the American state of New Jersey, Monmouth County contains Wall Township as one of its townships. As a transportation hub of Central New Jersey and a bedroom suburb of New York City in the New York Metropolitan Area, Wall Township is crisscrossed by numerous highways in the heart of the Jersey Shore region. As of the 2020 United States Census, Wall Township’s population was 26,525, the highest decennial count ever.

West Long Branch

The borough of West Long Branch is in Monmouth County, along the Jersey Shore in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Monmouth University is in West Long Branch, well-known for its educational institutions and family-friendly neighborhoods. As of the 2020 United States Census, the borough had an estimated population of 8,587, which was its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 490 (+6.1%) from the 8,097 count in the 2010 Census.
