Daniel D’Alessandro, J.S.C. (Ret.), of counsel. Judge D’Alessandro is of counsel to the Weiner Law Group.
Judge D’Alessandro is committed to helping people fairly and promptly resolve their differences while minimizing the human and financial costs of familial strife. He will use his experience as a trial and transactional attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey to achieve those goals.
He has extensive knowledge in separation, divorce, alimony, cohabitation, child support, domestic violence, paternity, property division, debt distribution, interstate custody, and relocation cases. He has mediated, arbitrated, or settled family law, civil, probate, and general equity cases.
Judge D’Alessandro presented courses at New Jersey Judicial College and taught family law, civil practice, evidence, mental health, mediation and settlement techniques for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Hudson County Bar Association.
He is a graduate of St. Peter’s College (AB, Economics); Seton Hall University School of Law (Juris Doctor) and New York University Graduate School of Law (L.L.M., Criminal Justice); and was past-president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, and the Hudson County Bar Association.
